Hello and Happy New Year one and all. Dumfries and Galloway LGBT Centre are bringing in the New Year with a bang on Saturday 28 January 2012 from 8pm at the Venue, Dumfries
So, dust off your tartan and limber up because coming your way is an evening where Studio 54 meets Braveheart at Dumfries and Galloway’s first ever "Gaylie Ceilidh”.
Entertainment will include live acts and tributes to the Bard; whirls, jigs, reels; and the return of "Time Tunnel” with the Fabulous Les and Semtexgirl AKA Dreads & Mullet spinning gay anthems from across the ages. We promise it will be a night to remember.

Dumfries Community Choir and Robert Shields who will transport you to the front seats of a New York cabaret bar for a funky live performance featuring over 25 singers
Gay Gordons Edinburgh: Scottish Country Dance Group will be dancing fast and furious; reel'n, set'n, cross'n an cleek'n til the only thing you will be able to do is shout out "Weel done Cutty Sark!"
La Navet Bete: award winning high energy clowns with a surreal, risque and hilarious show
For lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people, their straight mates and anyone else who (like Robert Burns) fights the good fight against prejudice!!! Strictly over 18s. All proceeds will go to Dumfries and Galloway LGBT Centre.
