The first of the Cumbria Unity Festivals for 2023 took place in Barrow on July 8th. The event started with a Unity parade with a diversity of people and flags processing from the Derby Inn to the forum. Outside the forum there was a stage with numerous acts performing and within the Forum there were numerous workshops and stalls which were all well attended. At the international zone there was the opportunity to sample a wide variety of foods from numerous countries. These are just a few examples of the numerous variety of events and activities that took place at the Barrow Unity Festival which was a resounding success where we received great feedback on the day and on social media.
