12 Hour Spinathon-Carlisle Leisure & Odyssey Charity
The Sands Centre, 16 November from 7am
On the 16th November starting at 7am The Sands Centre will be hosting a 12 hour charity Spinning event in aid of The Odyssey Charity – “ Bridging the Gap”
Cancer Support Services Cumbria & Borders; participants are encouraged to gain sponsorship for their individual rides throughout the day. “Spinners” as they are called can take part from one class to all 12 if they wish.
Spinning is an excellent way to burn some calories and relieve stress. The workout employs a stationary bike, with various tension levels. This class gives you the chance to experience the outdoor sport of cycling indoors while giving you a great cardiovascular workout.

The Odyssey Charity is a unique cancer/chronic illness support services which will be delivered in local communities which will bridge the gap between medical and home.
The unique difference with this charity it is a local empowering service providing nutritional, health, friendship, pamper sessions, relaxation and complementary therapies which will be free.
