Community Meals Volunteers needed in Penrith, Workington, Whitehaven, Sedbergh, Grange over Sands, Kendal, Flookburgh, Scotby & Wetheral!
Opportunities are available for new volunteers to join local teams and deliver community meals to Cumbria’s more vulnerable residents. As well as providing an essential hot meal, the service also offers people who may otherwise feel quite isolated some important social interaction.
We are looking for volunteer drivers, helpers and organisers. People need more than just food. If you are isolated and lonely you look forward to seeing a friendly face and having contact with the outside world.
