Do You Know Your HIV Status?
One in five gay and bisexual men with HIV don't know that they have it, but the good news is that it’s easier than ever to get tested – not only for HIV, but for any sexually transmitted infection.

Don't forget that The LGF also offers free, friendly and safe clinical services every single week. Our outreach clinic runs every Tuesday at one of three locations around Manchester every month and offers the chance to get a full sexual health check up. Testing includes; Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, Syphilis, HIV and Hepatitis B. And our rapid HIV testing clinic runs every Wednesday from 12pm - 2pm at The LGF. No appointment necessary, but the last appointment is 1.30pm, so make sure to arrive early!

World AIDS Day: We Remember
Since 1988, 1st December has always been World AIDS Day. It’s a hugely important day for our community and an opportunity for people around the world to stand together in the ongoing fight against HIV, show support for those living with HIV, and of course to remember those we've lost.
To mark World AIDS Day, The LGF are providing an opportunity for gay and bisexual men including those who are HIV positive to talk to one another about how HIV affects our communities and discuss the issues that matter to them about HIV and sexual health. ‘Talk Positive’ takes place at our Community Resource Centre on 1st December from 2pm-6pm, and you’re all invited.

The LGF is also a part of Manchester World AIDS Day Partnership, which brings together key organisations across the city to mark World AIDS Day. As always, the Partnership has organised the Candlelight Vigil taking place in Sackville Gardens on Sunday. The Vigil will begin at 6.45pm, after a candlelight procession around Manchester’s LGBT Village. If you’d like to take part in the procession, we’ll be assembling at Sackville Gardens from 6pm.
