Multi-Faith Meeting at Kendal United Reformed Church

5 November 2013, 5 to 7pm

 Interfaith Round

Keith Munnings, Chair of the Buddhist Healthcare Chaplaincy Group, has several meetings in Kendal on 5 November. He has time for a further meeting from 5pm to about 7pm on that day and this will be held in Kendal URC.

Keith Munnings, Chair of the Buddhist Healthcare Chaplaincy Group, and Vice-Chair of the Multi-Faith Group for Healthcare Chaplaincy, a national body established by the Department of Health. We will be able to hear his views on the place of pastoral care in the modern world, in public institutions and what part faith or belief can play. Keith is deeply involved in interfaith matters and how faith and belief communities can add something significant to the work of our public services. Chaplains are providers of spiritual care for those of all faiths and none.

This is a public meeting. There will be no charge, although donations are welcome.
